What version of Excel is required?

The Seller Financing Calculator is compatible with Microsoft Excel 2016 and later on both Windows and Mac, as well as Google Sheets. It does not require Excel 365 or any premium subscription — the standard desktop version works fine.

Do I need to know Excel to use the Calculator?

No. All input cells are highlighted in yellow so you know exactly where to type. Every other cell is locked and formula-driven — you enter your deal terms and the calculator handles the rest. If you can open a spreadsheet, you can use this tool.
